ILikeSmallBiz follows the following principles in order to protect your privacy:
- we do not collect any more personally identifiable information about you than is necessary;
- we do not keep your personally identifiable information if it is no longer needed; and

Web Form Information
When you submit information to ILikeSmallBiz to open an account, we may collect personally identifiable information from you that may include your business name, business address, web site, business social media identifying information, your name, email address and phone number. We also collect personally identifiable information from you if you participate in our promotions, such as contests and sweepstakes, take our surveys, use our services, contact us about a transaction, or email, call or otherwise communicate with us. If you provide us with personally identifiable information about your contacts we will only use this information for the specific reason for which it is provided.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from persons under the age of eighteen. If we determine that any information from a person under the age of 18 has been submitted to us, we will delete it within a reasonable time.
Site Usage Information
We automatically collect IP addresses and Site usage information from you when you access any of our online services. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors and subscribers use and navigate our Sites on an aggregate basis, including, but not limited to, the number and frequency of visitors and subscribers to each web page and the length of their visits.
Your web browser may let you choose your preference as to whether you want to allow websites to collect personally identifiable information over time about your online activities across different websites or online services.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
How We Use Information Collected
We may use information in the following ways:
- To perform the actions for which you specifically provided the information (for example, enabling us to process, validate, and verify purchases and otherwise fulfill our contractual obligations to you).

ILikeSmallBiz uses tracking to create remarketing audiences of users based on user behavior and visits to our website. ILikeSmallBiz may also target these users with custom ads based on affinities/interests, geographic and demographic signals. Users can opt out of these advertising features by visiting Facebook's ad page, Google's opt-out page or resources like the NAI consumer opt-out page. ILikeSmallBiz may use email addresses to target users with custom ads through third party advertising platforms. ILikeSmallBiz shares customer information with third parties to perform services (advertising) on our behalf.
We may disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Certain Business Transfers.
You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Site of any change in ownership or uses of your personally identifiable information, as well as any resulting choices you may have regarding your personally identifiable information.
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" within the email.
You have the right to request a copy of any personal data that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of your personal identifiable information please contact us. We may request proof of your identity before sharing such information.
If you discover that the information we hold about you is incorrect or out of date, you may edit that information through your ILikeSmallBiz account.
You may ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you in certain circumstances. It may not be possible for us to delete all of the information we hold about you where we have an ongoing relationship or a legal basis to retain the information, however please contact us to discuss how we can assist with your request.
In addition to the above, you may also ask us to stop or restrict processing of the personal data we have about you. You may also ask us to transfer your personal data to a third party in certain circumstances. If you would like any further information about your rights or how to exercise them, please contact us.
We will retain and use your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies
We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. We use session cookies to track your login status. This cookie is only ever transmitted over HTTPS. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. We use persistent cookies to determine from where you were referred to our Sites, as well as the last user ID that you used to log in. We may set and access ILikeSmallBiz cookies on your computer; cookies are required to use the ILikeSmallBiz Sites.

Analytics & Log Files
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g. HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site and our systems.
Third Party Tracking
The security of your personally identifiable information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as email address) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using SSL. We do not collect or store credit card or other payment information - those functions are handled by third party vendors (Stripe and/or PayPal). Please refer to the Privacy Policies of those companies for information on how they use your information.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.

The personally identifiable information we collect about you is stored in limited access servers. We maintain safeguards to protect the security of these servers and your personally identifiable information. We retain personally identifiable information only as long as necessary to complete a purchase, thwart fraud, provide customer service, or maintain your account with us.
When you create a Business Profile on this Site, or when you post a review or comment, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there may be read, collected, or used by other users and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these public areas. To request removal of your personally identifiable information from our community pages, contact us. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personally identifiable information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
We display customer testimonials on our Site in addition to other endorsements. With your express consent, we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us.
Links to Other Sites
If you click on a link to a third party site, you will leave our site and go to the site you selected. Because we cannot control the activities of third parties, we cannot accept responsibility for any use of your personally identifiable information by such third parties, and we cannot guarantee that they will adhere to the same privacy practices as us. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of any other service provider from whom you request services.

Effective January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) afforded California residents (i) the right to request disclosure of data collection and sales practices in connection with the requesting consumer; (ii) the right to have the requesting consumer’s information deleted, subject to certain exceptions; (iii) the right to request that their personal information not be sold to third parties, if applicable; and (iv) the right not to be discriminated against because they exercised any of the new rights.

ILikeSmallBiz will need to collect information from the requesting party to verify their identity, and will respond within 45 days of receiving a personal information request (subject to an additional 45-day extension in certain circumstances).
Please be aware that such a request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of your content or information and that there may be circumstances in which the law does not require or allow removal even if requested.
